Working at a small architecture firm has allowed me to play a large role in a variety of project types from churches to office buildings and home renovations to ground up construction. My participation usually spans all phases of a project: from client pitch meeting, research/programming, code review, schematic design, design development, construction documents, pricing, through construction administration. Most of the projects in which I have been involved, I contributed to the design, created the BIM, coordinated with consultants and shared construction administration duties. We often work with the client to select interior finishes but I have also worked closely with interior designers. I have highlighted my roles in the selected projects below.
